↩ Back

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of padauk, maple, purple heart, green poplar and Brazilian cherry that is cut by two cross-cutting normal faults and a vertical dike of black walnut. These strata are exposed in two broad, meandering valleys that accentuate the classic Rule of Vs patterns. The base of this large block measures roughly 5 inches square and is finished with Tried & True® linseed oil and beeswax.
