This wooden block features a stratified sequence of Brazilian cherry, maple, poplar, mahogany, cherry, and tzalam that are cut by cross-cutting reverse and normal faults and a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/2 inches square and is finished with a gloss polyurethane.
