No. 37 Opposing valleys cut by reverse faults & dike

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of maple, poplar, purple heart, and Brazilian cherry exposed in a pair of opposing valleys that are cut by two reverse faults and a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/4 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
