No. 35 Opposing valleys cut by normal faults and dike

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of maple, poplar, purple heart, and Brazilian cherry exposed in opposing valleys and are cut by a normal fault and a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/4 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
