No. 33 Opposing valleys with normal faults and a zoned dike

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of maple, cherry, beech, mahogany, poplar, purple heart, movingui, and white oak that are exposed in opposing valleys and are cut by two normal faults and a vertical zoned dike of black walnut and mahogany. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/2 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
