No. 26 Scissor fault with dike

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of beech, poplar, mahogany, movingui, maple, purple heart, and Brazilian cherry that are cut by a scissoring normal fault and a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/4 by 4 3/4 inches and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
