No. 20 Reverse fault and dike cutting opposing valleys

This wooden block features an a reverse faulted stratified sequence of poplar, beech, movingui, purple heart, maple, and Brazilian cherry layers that are cut by a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 3/4 by 4 1/2 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
