No. 12 Dipping steeply up a valley with sill

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of padauk, cherry, poplar, purple heart, maple, and Brazilian cherry layers that are steeply dipping up a valley that is cut by a sill of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
