↩ Back

This wooden block features a gently dipping stratified sequence of paduak, maple, mahogany, and cherry that is cut by two normal faults and a vertical dike of black walnut. These strata are exposed in broad valleys to accentuate Rule of Vs patterns. The base of the block measures roughly 4 1/2 by 5 inches and is finished with Tried & True® linseed oil and beeswax.
