No. 10 Thrust faulted sequence dipping up a valley

This wooden block features a stratified sequence of cherry, poplar, purple heart, maple, and Brazilian cherry layers that are dipping up a valley and cut by a thrust fault and a dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 4 inches square and is finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
