This wooden block features a stratified sequence of Brazilian cherry, purple heart, pine, cherry, redwood, and poplar layers that dip shallowly up a valley and are cut by a vertical dike of black walnut. The base of the block measures roughly 3 inches square and is finished with oil based polyurethane for durability.
