This cutting board features a gently dipping stratified sequence of maple, padauk, yellow heart, cherry, mahogany, and Brazilian cherry. These strata are cut by a fault and intruded by a dike of black walnut. The dike has contact metamorphic zones of mahogany along its margins. This large board measures 11 x 20 x 1.5 inches. All surfaces received 8 coats of mineral oil. Maintain the cutting surface as needed with mineral oil.
